Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Peel and wash carrots in cold water and drain.
  2. Place carrots in a sauté pan and cover with water. Add salt.
  3. Bring carrots to a boil and cook for 10-15 minutes, until just fork tender.
  4. Drain carrots, and set aside.
  5. In the same pan, melt the butter and add the brown sugar. Over medium heat, stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  6. Add the carrots back into the pan and gently stir, coating the carrots with the glaze.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
